“There’s something I saw that’s coming out it’s called The Skinny Mirror, and the new Skinny Mirror uses curved glass to trick its users into looking and feeling 10lbs thinner. Sign me up!”
“It does some sort of slight optical illusion on your body. The company makes it says that our self image is directly tied energy levels, feeling of competence, and perceived attractiveness. Totally agree! If I saw myself in one of these thin tall, like don’t thin me out, stretch me out too. I will have a much better day! Have you ever left your house and you can trick look your mirror, you can dim your lights and go for the right angle and change it, and then you get to the office and you look at yourself in the bathroom light and you say “how did I let myself leave like that”? ”
“They should do this in stores. Now if you were to be shopping and try something on and look at yourself, it doesn’t look weird, it looks skinny, yes you would feel so good about yourself, you would buy it. Who cares if it’s not accurate. It’s what you THINK you look like. All that matters is what you THINK you look like. Right? Because if you know what you look like your’re not doing half the stuff you do now. That’s the way I feel about myself.”
